Situated on an unspoilt piece of the New Zealand Coast one km past the end of the public road end and the Flat Point Beach Village, the Lodge offers a relaxing getaway for couples, families and small groups.

Guest have the use of the Lodge's large surrounding gardens and outdoor chess and draught set all overlooking the ocean.All accommodation units are self contained with DVD players and wood fires.
For small Conferences, Weddings, Reunions , Workshops, Business Meetings , Birthdays, Family Get togethers and Other Functions. Reef Point Lodge is an ideal venue with it's 7 double and 2 twin bedrooms in 4 separate accommodation units plus extra accommodation is available nearby if needed. A room is available in the Lodge's homestead that is suitable for small functions. The homestead has broadband internet and a well equipped kitchen for self catering or a chef is available ( Fresh Fish straight off the boat(weather depended)). The surrounding coastal native gardens all overlook the ocean with places to relax and enjoy. Coastal and Farm Walks or Play Golf on our 9 hole links golf course. It is uniquely private and is Wairarapa Coast's best kept secret on an unspoilt piece of the New Zealand Coast.

Young Nick's Chalet
A queen-sized Chalet with kitchenette, ensuite, bath, wood burning fire, DVD player and wheel chair access. Young Nicks chalet faces North with a sunny deck and unrestrictive views of the beach and reef. Ideal for a couple or one person wanting to getaway and relax with the ocean right there to enjoy. |

Lighthouse Chalet
A queen-sized Chalet with an ensuite and bath, fireplace, DVD player and kitchenette. The Light house faces South towards the Reef. It is private and quiet with unrestrictive views of the beach and coastline. Ideal for a couple or single person wanting to getaway and relax. "It doesn't get much better than this" !!!

Homestead
The Homestead has 4 bedrooms, two Queens,one double and a twin with 2 bathrooms and 3 toilets, fireplace and sky TV. It has a kitchenette off the lounge as well as a large main kitchen. Can be rented individually by a group or family or used in conjunction with the Crowsnest Cottage for two families/groups each with their own accommodation but only a short walking distance between them to meet up for meals etc. The Chalets can be included as well.
Beautiful views of the ocean and surrounded by a rambling native garden.

Crowsnest Cottage
A Cottage with 3 bedrooms: 2 queens and 1 twin 2 bathrooms, lounge with open fireplace, full kitchen with dishwasher, laundry facilities and a DVD player. The Crowsnest Cottage has views from its deck of the reef and the ocean. Is great for a family or group holiday and can be used by two families/groups in conjunction with the "Homestead" Each with their own separate accommodation but only a short walking distance between the two to meet up for meals etc. |

Reef Point Lodge is surrounded by and part of Flat Point Station's 9000 acre sheep and cattle coastal farm with its own vineyard. (click through to the Beach, Sea, farm or the Vineyard and Wine Page) Guests may walk on Flat Point Station but approval must first be obtained from the Lodge's Reception because of livestock (movement, lambing, calving etc). One walk which is very special is to the top airstrip above Reef Point Lodge. There you will get views of farmland and ocean to CastlePoint Rock (weather depending). Just Amazing -- as is a walk along the beach at low tide --- so very peaceful and relaxing. Golf is available at the Flat Point 9 hole course. (click through to the Golf page)

Flat Point has its own small airfield. It is a two hours drive from Wellington or Palmerston North. One hour drive to Martinborough, Masterton or Carterton. Twenty minute drive to DOC Honeycombe walk.
ENJOY: Golf, Sunsets, Sunrises, Swimming, Fishing, Surfing, Good Boat Launching, Diving, Snorkeling, Sand, Rockpools, Reef, Wine or stroll and explore the unlimited secluded coastline.
